false... the sum of two whole number is a whole number and positive too.. as they don't have any negative numbers...

The given statement is false, because whole numbers are never negative so their sum can never be negative as well.

Whole numbers contain all the positive numbers starting from zero till infinity

=> 0,1,2,3....

so when you will add any of the two whole numbers, sum will not be a negative number.

Also, negative numbers fall under the group of Intergers as they contain all the negative and positive numbers along with zero.
