circumference of the circle=2*pi*r
radius of the circle =r
therefore, radius + circumference of the circle = r+2*pi*r
=> r(2*pi + 1) = 51
=> r = 51/(2*pi + 1)
=> now taking the value of pi as 3.14 and substituting it we get,
=> r = 51/(2*3.14 + 1)
=> r = 51/7.28
therefore, r = 7.005cm
therefore radius of the circle= 7.005 cm

YASH3100: did you get it, if you have any doubt u can ask
YASH3100: could you pls add it as the brainliest if u dont mind
Riya2857: sure
YASH3100: i would be thankful to you if u add it as the brainliest
Riya2857: how it has been done?
YASH3100: there must be an option somewhere near my answer to add as brainliest i guess
Riya2857: its isnt shown by me
YASH3100: ok ok no problem i am happy that you got ur doubt cleared that is more important
Riya2857: thnkiuu
YASH3100: most welcome

Question:-

The sum of circumference and the radius of the circle is 51cm,find the radius of the circle

Solution:-

we know that

=> radius = r , π = 22/7 = 3.14

=> circumference of circle

= 2 × π × r

According to que.

=>circumference of circle + radius

= 51 cm

=> ( 2 × π × r ) + ( r ) = 51

=> 2 × 3.14 × r + r = 51

=> 6.28 × 2r = 51

=> 2r = 51/6.28

=> 2r = 8.121019108

=> r = 8.121019108/2

=> r = 4.060509554 cm

=> r = 4.06 cm

Hence radius of circle is 4.06 cm

i hope it helps you.
