let,

the ones digit be x

tens digit=8-x

two digit number=

10(8-x) +x=80-10x+x=80-9x

after interchanging the no :

10x+(8-x) =10x+8-x=9x+8

A.T.Q,

9x+8-(80-9x) =18

9x+8-80+9x=18

18x-72=18

18x=18+72

18x=90

x=90/18

x=5

therefore,

10(8-x) +8

10(8-5)+8

35

9x+8

9*5+8
