the sum of digit of two digit number is 12 the number obtained by reversing the order of the digits of the given number exceeds the given number by 18 find the 2 digit number

Hey!!!

As promised I'm here

let the unit digit of the number be x and ten's digit be y.

Then ATQ,

=> x + y = 12 ------(1)

Also

=> 10x + y + 18 = 10y + x

=> 9x - 9y = -18

=> x - y = -2 -------(2)

Adding (1) and (2)

=> x + y + x - y = 12 - 2

=> 2x = 10

=> x = 5

Thus y = 7

Thus Original Number = 57
