the sum of digit the sum of digit of two digit number is 12 if the new number from the reserving digit of the greater than the original number by 54 find the original number

Let the original number be 10x + y.

Number formed reversing digits is 10y + x.

Conditions:

x + y = 12                                         ...................................................(1)

10y + x = 10x + y + 54

9x - 9y = -54

Dividing by 9, we get

x - y = -6                                          .............................................................(2)

Solving both the equations, we get

x=3 and y=9

The original number is 39.
