Answer:

Sum of the digit is 12

x+y = 12 …….(1)

The no is 10x+ y

Reversing the digit ,the new no is 10y +x

According to the condition

10y+ x = 10x +y+ 36

-9x+9y = 36

Dividing by ‘9’

-x+y= 4 ……(2)

Adding the equations (1)& (2)

2y = 16

y= 8

Substituting value of y in first equation , value of x is 4

x= 4

The no is 48

for verification sum of the digits x+ y = 4+ 8 = 12

Interchanging the digit is 84 this no is 36 more than the original no , 48 + 36 = 84

The original number is 48
