The sum of digits of a two digit number is 11. If 9 is added to the number, its digits are reversed. Find the numbers.​

Answer:

Let the 2digit number be 10x + y

It's reverse will be 10y + x

Now, it is given that if 9 is added to the number the digits of the number are interchanged.

Therefore,

10x + y + 9 = 10y + x

9 = 9y - 9x

9 = 9(y - x)

So, y - x = 1..,………….(1)

Now, it is given that x + y = 11……..(2)

Solving (1) & (2)

We get, y = 6

And x = 5

So, the number is 56.
