Let the two digit no. =10x + y

Let reversed no. =10y + x

x + y =12 .............i)

18+ (10x + y) = 10y + x

10x - x + y -10y = -18

9x - 9y = -18

x - y = -2 .............ii)

from eq. i) & ii), we get

x + y = 12

x - y = -2

2x = 10

x = 5

putting the value of in equation i)

x + y= 12

5 + y=12

y =7
