The sum of digits of a two-digit number is 12. The number obtained by interchanging its digit exceeds the given number by 18. Find the number.​

Let the number be XY.

X+Y = 12

YX = XY + 18

5 + 7 = 12

75 = 57 + 18

Therefore the number is 57.
