The sum of digits of s two digit number is 8. If 36 is added to this number, the digits are reversed. Find the number?(only in 1 variable)

             x + y = 8

           36 = 9y - 9x

substitute 1 in 2

     y - (8 - y) = 4

    2y = 12

substitute 3 in 1

    x = 8 - 6

    x = 2

   So, the two digit number is 26.

   The reversed number is 62.
