The sum of digits of two digits number is 9 and if tens place digit is increased by 3, the number this formed will be equal to 5/3 times the original number. What is the original number?

Answer: original number = 45

let the digit at tens place be X and the digit at units place be Y.

Any two digit no. is expressed in the form of  10X+Y.

According to the question,

X+Y=9........................(1)

(10X+30) + Y = 5(10X+Y)/3

10X+Y = 45...................(2)

From eqn-2 it is clear that our required no. is  45.
