the sum of fathers age and twice the age of his son 70 if we double the age of father and add it to the age of his sonis 95 find the present ages

Let Son's age was X and father's age was Y.
Now, According to first condition,
2X + Y = 70 ------------------------------ (1)
According to second condition,
X + 2Y = 95 --------------------------- (2)
Solving Equation (1) and (2)
2X + Y - 2X - 4Y = 70 - 190
- 3Y = - 120
Y = 40.
2X + Y = 70
2X + 40 = 70
X = 15.
Son's age = 15 years.
His father's age = 40 years
