Answer:

Let the Father's age be x

Let the son's age be y

Now, according to first condition

x+2y=70-------(1)

According to second condition

2x+y=95-------(2)

Multiplying the equation (2) by 2

2*2x+2*y=95*2

4x+2y=190------(3)

Subtracting equation (1) from (3)

4x+2y=190

-x-2y=-70

________

3x=120

x=120/3

x=40

Substituting x=40 in equation (1)

x+2y=70

40+2y=70

2y=70-40

2y=30

y=30/2

y=15

Therefore, the present age of father is 40 years and the present age of son is 15 years.
