Sn = n/2 [ 2a + ( n - 1) d ] ___________ formula

n = total no. of odd nos from 1 - 50

= 25

a = first term = 1

d = difference

= term 2 - term 1

= 3 - 1

= 2

d = 2

Applying the values in the formula

S25 = 25/2 [ 2 × 1+ ( 25 - 1 ) 2 ]

= 25/2 [ 2 + 24 × 2 ]

= 25/2 [ 2+ 48 ]

= 25/2 × 50

= 25 × 2 /50

= 25 ×25

= 625
