QUESTION:-

The sum of first 6 terms of an arithmetic progression is 6 product of 2nd and 5th term is -80 write the terms of arithmetic progression.

SOLUTION:-

According to the questions!!

Arithmetic Progressions:-

The sum of first 6 terms are given as :)

let,

a,a+d,a+2d...... a+5d

Now,

sum is :--

a+a+d+a+2d+...

=> 6a+15d=6

=> 3(2a+5d)=6

=> 2a+5d=2----(2)

Product of 2nd and 5th term is :-

second term= a+d

Fifth term = a+4d

There product!

=> (a+d)(a+4d)=-80

=> a²+4ad+da+4d²=-80

=> a²+5ad+4d²= -80-------(1)

using eqn 1 and 2,

you can take out values of 1 and 2.

Respectivelyy!!!
