The sum of first n terms of an A.P. is given by Sn=3n²+4n, determine the A.P. and it's 12th term.

given that sn= 3n²+4n

  • now first term will be
  • a1= 7
  • And sum of two term will be 12+8=20
  • now a2= 20-7= 13
  • so d= 6
  • now 12 th term is ... a12 = 7+11×6 = 73

hence A12= 73
