AP: a, 3a, 5a...

First term= a , d= (3a - a) = 2a

Sn = \frac{n}{2}[2a + (n-1) d]

Sn = \frac{n}{2}[2a + (n-1) 2a]

Sn = \frac{n}{2}[2a + 2an - 2a]

Sn = \frac{n}{2} × 2an

Sn = an²

Sum of the terms= an²
