Equation on finding four consecutive integer will be –
x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3) = 178
4x + 6 = 178
4x = 178 - 6
4x = 172
x = 172/4
x = 43
(x+1) = 43 + 1 = 44
(x+2) = 43 + 2 = 45
(x+3) = 43 + 3 = 46
Hence the four consecutive integer are 43, 44, 45 and 46.
