Answer :-

  • The four consecutive multiples of 7 whose sum is 70 are 7, 14, 21 and 28.

To find :-

  • The four consecutive multiples of 7 whose sum is 70.

Solution :-

  • Let the first multiple of 7 be "x".

Then :-

  • The next three consecutive multiples of 7 will be "x + 7", "x + 14" and "x + 21".

It is given that :-

  • The sum of these four consecutive multiples of 7 is 70.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Therefore,

\hookrightarrow\sf x + x+ 7 + x + 14 + x + 21 = 70

 \hookrightarrow\sf4x + 42 = 70

 \hookrightarrow\sf4x = 70 - 42

 \hookrightarrow\sf4x = 28

 \hookrightarrow\sf x =  \dfrac{28}{4}

 \hookrightarrow \underline{\boxed{\sf x = 7}}

-----------------------------------------------------------

Hence, the multiples are :-

 \bf x = 7.

 \bf x + 7 = 7 + 7 = 14.

 \bf x + 14 = 7 + 14 = 21.

 \bf x + 21 = 7 + 21 = 28.
