Solution:

Let the other no. be x

HCF + LCM = 435

but LCM= 28(HCF)

•°• HCF + 28HCF = 435

29HCF = 435

HCF= 435/29

•°• HCF = 15

Now,

$hcf \times lcm = 60 \times x \\ 15 \times 420 = 60 \times x \\ \frac{420 \times 15}{60} = x \\ x = 105$

LCM: lowest common multiple
