Solution,

The coefficient of the range is calculated by using the below formula:

coefficient of range = \frac{ Difference of the highest and lowest value}{Sum of the highest and lowest value}

On substitution of the given values in the formula,

That is,  coefficient of range = 0.625

The sum of the highest and lowest values = 80

0.625 = \frac{Difference  of the highest and lowest value}{80}

On cross multiplication,

Difference between highest and lowest value =( 0.625)(80)

Difference between highest and lowest value = 50

Henceforth, the difference between the highest and lowest values is 50.
