Given a=31.

S=31+36+41+....=535

S=n/2*[2a+(n-1)d]

535=n/2*[62+5n-5]

=1070=n[57+5n]

=5n²+57n-1070=0

=5n²-50n+107n-1070=0

=5n(n-10)+107(n-10)=0

=(5n+107)(n-10)=0

n cannot be negative.

so n-10=0

n=10

The number of terms is 10.
