Step-by-step explanation:

let be the numerator=7x

let be the denominator=8x

The sum of numerator and denominator=15

7x+8x=15

x=15/15

x=1

put the value of x =1

then

7x=7*1=7

8x=8*1=8

according to the question

if 1 added numerator and denominator=8/9

7+1/8+1=8/9

8/9=8/9
