Let the fraction be x/y

From the question,

x+y= 2y-3

y-x=3----------------- equation 1

x-1/y-1 = 1/2

2x-2=y-1

2x-y=1---------------- equation 2

On adding both the equations, we get x=4 and by substituting this value in any one of the equation, we get y=7.

Therefore the fraction is 4/7
