Let the fraction be x/y
From the question,
x+y= 2y-3
y-x=3----------------- equation 1
x-1/y-1 = 1/2
2x-2=y-1
2x-y=1---------------- equation 2
On adding both the equations, we get x=4 and by substituting this value in any one of the equation, we get y=7.
Therefore the fraction is 4/7
Hope this helps!
