Answer:

Let the numerator be x , denominator be y

x + y =8 , x = y-8

x+3/y+3 = 3/4

4x+12=3y+9

4(8-y) + 12 -3y-3=0

32+3-7y =0

y = 5

x = 3

let x be its numerator and y be its denominator.

given:

x+y=8

x=8-y...1

according to the question,

x+3÷y+3=3÷4(x÷y)

x+3÷y+3=3x÷4y

x+3(4y) = y+3(3x)

4xy+12y=3xy+9x

9x-12y-xy=0

72-9y-12y-8y+y^2=0

y^2-29y+72=0.....2

on solving the equations 1&2

we get the value of x and y
