5x-4y =20-25

5x-4y= -5 (2)

x=8-y put in (2)

5(8-y) -4y= -5

40-5y-4y = -5

-9y =-5-40

-9y = -45

y= 45/9

y= 5

now put value of y=5 in (1)

x+5=8

x=8-5

x=3

so fraction is x/y = 3/5
