Let X and X+1 be two consecutive numbers.

Case 1:when X is an odd number

Then X+1 is an consecutive even number

Then X/5+(X+1)/6=4

6x+5(X+1)=120

11x+5=120

11x=115

X=115/11

Case2: when X is an even number then next consecutive even number is X+2

Then X/5+(X+2)/6=4

6x+5(X+2)=120

11x+10=120

11x=120–10

X=110/11

X=10
