Given:

 \sf{sum \: of \: parallel \: sides = 17cm}

 \tt{area \: of \: trapezium = 85 {cm}^{2} }

To Find :

Height

Solution:

  \boxed{ \orange{\mathfrak{a =  \frac{1}{2}(a + b)h}}}

 \implies \: 85 =  \frac{1}{2} \times 17 \times h

 \implies \: 85 \times 2 = 17h

 \implies \: 170 = 17h

 \implies \: h =  \frac{170}{17}  = 10cm

 \therefore \mathfrak{ \green{ \: height = 10cm}}

Given:-

  • Sum of parallel side = 17cm
  • Area of trapezium ,A = 85m²

To Find:-

  • Height,h ?

Solution:-

As we know that area of trapezium is calculated by half of the sum of parallel side into height .

Area = 1/2 × Sum of Parallel side × height

Substitute the value we get

\longrightarrow 85 = 1/2 × 17 × h

\longrightarrow 170 = 17 ×h

\longrightarrow 170/17 = h

\longrightarrow 10 = h

  • Hence, the height of trapezium is 10m .
