Let the seven consecutive integers be x , x+1 , x+2 , x+3 , x+4 , x+5 , x+6

Sum of numbers = 7
X + x + 1 + x + 2 + x +3 + x + 4 + x + 5 + x + 6 = 7
7x + 21 = 7
7x = -14
X = -2

Least integer = -2
Greatest number = 4

suppose seven consecutive integers are y , y + 1 , y + 2 , y + 3 , y + 4 , y + 5 , y + 6

sum of all seven integers = 7

y + y + 1 + y + 2 + y + 3 + y + 4 + y + 5 + y + 6 = 7



7y + 21 = 7

7y = 7-21
y = -14÷7 = -2

first integer = y = -2
second integer = y+1 = -2+1 = -1
third integer = y+2 = -2+2 = 0
fourth integer = y+3 = -2+3 = 1
fifth integer = y+4 = -2+4 = 2
sixth integer = y+5 = -2+5 = 3
and
seventh integer = y+6 = -2+6 = 4

so, 4 is the greatest integer and -2 is least integer.
