The sum of six consecutive even integers is 294. What is the smallest of the six integers?

Let, the integers be x,(x+2),(x+4),(x+6),(x+8),(x+10)

According to the question :

x+(x+2)+(x+4)+(x+6)+(x+8)+(x+10) = 294

=> 6x + 30 = 294

=> 6x = 264

=> x = 44

So, the smallest number is the 44
