Let the one no. be x

And other no. Be ( x+2 )

A.T.Q

x²+ (x +2)²=394

x²+x²+4x +4=394

2x²+4x - 390=0

x²+2x-195 =0

Now by quadratic formula method,

D=b²-4ac

= 2²-(4)(-195)

=4+780

D=784

Now,

x = - b ± √D/2a

x = -2 ± √784/2

x= -2 +28/2. x= -2 - 28/2

x= 24/2. x= - 30/2

x=12. x= - 15

But it is rejected as odd no.

Can't be negative

Thus the no. Is 12 and other no is 15
