Now

(x)²+(2x-3)²= 74

=> + 4x²+9-12x = 74

=> 5x²-12x+9 = 74

X = 5

means first no. is 5 the second no. will be

2(5)-3 = 7

confirmation :-

(5)²+ (7)² = ?

25+49 = 74

means anwers is right
