Answer:

d = 5

a = -13

AP = -13, -8, -3..

Step-by-step explanation:

4th + 8th = a + 3d + a + 7d

               => 2a + 10d = 24

              => a + 5d = 12

6th + 10th = a + 5d + a + 9d

               => 2a + 14d = 44

               => a + 7d = 22

-Solving the simultaneous eqns.-

a + 7d - a - 5d = 22 - 12 = 10

=> 2d = 10 => d = 5

a + 5d = 12

=>  a + 5*5 = 12

=> a + 25 = 12

=> a  = 12 - 25

=> a = -13

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a +3d+a+7d=24

⇒2a +10d= 24

⇒a+5d=12  let this be equation 1

a +5d +a+9d = 44

⇒2a+14d=44

⇒a +7d=22   Let this be equation 2

solving equation 1 and 2

d=5 and a= -13

AP is -13,-8,-3......
