The sum of the age of a father and the age of a son is 75 years. If the product of their ages before 5 years was 750, then what is the present age of the father?

Answer: present age 55

So we take present age 55 5 years back the age of father was 50, also as we know the product of ages of father and son was 750,so we divide total age from the father age, i.e. 750/50=15.

Means the age of son at that time was 15years.

And as the age of father and son both increased 5 years, so the sun of present age is 50+5=55 also 15+5=20. 55+20=75.
