Age of 3rd child = x+6 yrs

Age of 4th child = x+ 9 yrs

Age of 5th child = x+ 12 yrs

Now by adding all these we get

x+x+3+x+6+x+9+x+12=50

5x + 30 = 50

X = 4

Hence age of 1st child = 4yrs

Similarly age of 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th child are 7 yrs, 10 yrs, 13yrs, 16yrs respectively.
