Let, Age of 1st person be x
And, Age of 2nd person be y
Now,
x+y= 80 yrs. .......(i)
x-y= 32 yrs. .......(ii)
Now,
Adding eq (i) and (ii):-
x+y+x-y=80+32
2x= 112
x= 56
So,
Age of 1st person= x= 56 yrs
Now,
x+y= 80
y= 80-56
y= 24 yrs
So,
Age of 2nd person= y= 24 yrs
