Step-by-step explanation:

let youngest child age be x

so, ages of others are x+3 , x+6 , x+9 , x+12

now sum of them is 50

so, x+x+3+x+6+x+9+x+12 =50

5x + 30 = 50

so, x = 4

so, the age of youngest child is 4 years

Answer:

It is a very easy question..

Let’s say age of child 1 = X

So child 2 = X + 3

Child 3 = X +3 + 3

child 4 = X + 3 + 3 + 3

Lastly child 5 = X + 3 + 3 +3+3

Given that,

X + X +3+ X+3+3+ X+3+3+3+ X+3+3+3+3=50

=5X + 30 = 50

=5X = 50-30=20

So, X= 20/5= 4 Years is the age of the youngest child.
