<b><I>» Let the age of the Boy be x years and age of his brother be [ 25 - x ] years.

» According to the Question, the product of their ages is 126. So,

x [ 25 - x ] = 126

25x - x = 126/x

25x - x^2 = 126

0 = 126 - 25x + x^2

0 = 126 - 18x - 7x + x^2

0 = 18 [ 7 - x ] - x [ 7 - x ]

0 = [ 7 - x ] [ 18 - x ]

Hence, We get x = 7 or x = 18

Therefore, if age of the Boy is 7 years then his brother's age will be 18 years or vice versa.
