and, age of his brother= y
A/Q x+y= 15
x-y= 3
=> 2x= 18
=> x= 18/2
=> x= 9
putting value of x in,
=> x+y= 15
=> 9+y=15
=> y= 15-9
=> y= 6
therefore, age of Prakash = 9
and, age of his brother= 6

sum of the ages = 15

Difference of ages = 3


x + y = 15
x - y = 3

2x +0 = 18

2x = 18

x = 18/2

Substitute x value in any one of the equation

x + y = 15

9 + y = 15

y = 15 - 9

y = 6


Therefore

Age of Prakash is 9
