The sum of the ages of Rupali and Dipali is 34 years. Rupali is 6 years younger than Dipali. Find their present ages.​

Let the Deepali age be 'x'.

Rupali is 3 years younger than Deepali.

The age of Rupali is 'x-3'.

The sum of the ages of Rupali and Deepali is 29 years.

i.e.

 \sf \: x+x-3=29 \\  \\  \sf \dashrightarrow 2x=29+3 \\  \\ \sf \dashrightarrow 2x=32 \\  \\\sf \dashrightarrow x=\frac{32}{2} \\  \\\sf \dashrightarrow \red { x=16}

The present age of Deepali is 16 years.

The present age of Rupali is 16-3=13 years
