sum,x+x4=18

According to question,

a + b = 18 ---------(1)

And,

a - b = 4 --------(2)

On adding equation 1 and 2, we get

2a = 22

=> a = 11

Now,

On substituting the value of a in equation 1, we get

11 + b = 18

=> b = 7

Subbu's age = 11 years

Tobu's age = 7 years
