Answer:

Age of Peter is 20 years

And the age of Harry is 12 years

Let us consider the age of Peter be x

And age of Harry be y

The sum ages of Peter and Harry is 32

x+y=32

Peter's age four years ago was (x-4)years

Harry's age four years ago was (y-4)years

Four years ago, Peter was twice as old as Harry

(x-4)=2(y-4)

x-4=2y-8

x=2y-4

Substituting the value of x in 1st equation

(2y-4)+y=32

3y-4=32

3y=36

y=36/3

y=12years

x+y=32

x+12=32

x=20years

So the age of Peter is 20 years

And the age of Harry is 12 years

Answer:

hey mate here is ur ans

Step-by-step explanation:

let the peter present age=x

let the harry present age =y

ATQ -x+y=25

after 10 yrs....

Peter age will be =x+10

harry age will be= y+10

ATQ- y+10 =2(x+10)

y+10=2x+20

y= 2x+20-10

y=2x+10

putting that value in the first equation

x+2x+10=25

3x=25-10

3x=15

x=15÷3

x=5
