Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Sum of areas of 2 squares = 41cm

Sum of areas of 2 squares = 41cmSum of perimeters of 2 squares = 36cm

We know that,

Area of square = Side x Side = S²

Perimeter of square = 4 x side = 4S

So,

S² = 41cm

4s = 36cm

Side of first square,

Side x Side = 41cm

S² = 41cm

S = 41cm

S = 6.40cm

Side of 2nd square,

4 x side = 36cm

Side = 36/4

Side = 9cm

Therefore side of 1st square is 6.40cm and 2nd square is 9cm.
