The sum of the circumference of a circle and the perimeter of a rectangle is 132 cm. The area of the rectangle is 112 sq cm and breadth of the rectangle is 8 cm. What is the area of the circle ?

2*pi*r + 2*(a+b) = 132 cm

ab = 112 sqcm

b = 8 cm

a = 112/8 = 14 cm

2*pi*r + 2*(14+8) = 132

2*pi*r = 132 - 44 = 88

r = 88*7/2*22 = 14 cm

pi*r^2 = (22/7)*14*14 = 616 sqcm
