a+b=12-------------(1)

and,

10a+b=10a+b+54------------(2)

so,

9b-9a= 54

9(b-a)=54

b-a =6 ----------(3)

we eliminate a,

2(b)=18

b = 9

from (1),

a+b= 12

a+9=12

a=3

so the number is 10a+b= 39
