so original number can be written as 10x+y(as u know,for example,if 34 is the number,we  get it as 10×3+4 right,the same applied here)

so the reversed number will be 10y+x

so it is said that 10x+y-9=10y+x⇒ 9x-9y=9⇒  x-y=1(equation 2)

substituting equation 1 in equation 2

3-y-y=1⇒2y=2⇒ y=1

so x=3-y=3-1=2

so,the original number is 10x+y=10×2+1=21
