Suppose X be the tens digit and y be the ones digit

The number should be- 10x+y

Atq,

Sum of digits is 3

X+y=3...... equation 1

On interchanging

X be ones digit and y be tens digit

So the no formed 10y+X

In case2

10x+y-9=10y+X

X-y =1....eq2

Solving by elimination

X-y =1

X+y =3

+ +. +

2x = 4

X = 2

Substituting the value of X

X+y= 3

2+y= 3

Y = 1

Original no= 10x +y

10* 4 + 1 *1= 41

Original no is 41
