10x + y is the no.

X + Y = 8

10x + y - ( 10y + x ) = 18

x - y = 2

Now, we use the elimination method

x + y = 8

x- y = 2

Therefore,

X = 5 and y = 3 there the answer is 53

Answer:

The Number is 53.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Sum of the digits = 8

Difference between the number and number with interchanged digits is 18

To find :

The number

Solution :

Consider the -

  • Digit at unit place be x
  • Ten's place be y.

\sf{\implies}\:10y+x

Number formed by reversing the digits = 10y + x

According to the given question -

x + y = 8  --------- ( I )

and ( 10y + x ) - ( 10x + y ) = 18

9 ( y - x ) = 18

y - x = 2 ------- ( II )

By solving (I) and (II) we get -

x = 3,

y = 5

Hence, the number = 10y + x

⇒ 10 × 5 + 3

⇒ 53.

\therefore The Number is 53.
