x+y = 12 → (1)

& 10x+y+18 = 10y+x

Therefore, 9x-9y = -18

Therefore, x-y = -2 → (2)

Adding (1)&(2) we get,

2x = 10

x = 5

Substituting, x=5 in (2) we get,

5-y = -2

Therefore, y = 5+2 = 7

Hence, the number is 10(5)+(7) = 50+7 i.e., 57
