The sum of the digits in a two digit number is 9 if tens place digit is increased by 3 the number thus formed will be 25/18 times the number formed by interchanging the digits of the original number.find the original number

unit digit = x

digit at 10 place = y

x+y = 9

now as per question

10(y+3)+x = 25/18(10x+y)

18(10y+30+x) = 25(10x+y)

232x-155y = 540

232x-1395+155x = 540  (from equation 1, put the value of y = 9-x)

387x = 1935

x = 5

so y = 4

original number = 45
